We just got our golden doodle Theseus back today and he’s so well trained! He did a complete change from his rowdy, jumpy, barking and leash pulling behavior to a well mannered dog who listens and walks along without pulling and completely losing it when he sees other dogs!

Our dog had issues with resource guarding and was generally quite disobedient. We contacted IBK9 after we had tried training for two years ourselves.

We signed up for the 3 week residential training, and have just got our dog home. The difference in her behaviour is unreal!

We have been left with the confidence, knowledge and tools to be able to carry on the training at home.

It is no exaggeration to say this has/ will change our lives for the better.

Wish we had found Ian sooner!

I am not one to leave reviews but when I do, it’s because it’s absolutely worth it. We have two dogs (lab and Great Dane) and have experienced different trainers and haven’t really had any success until we met Ian. We went from being dragged around to peacefully walking with them. He is very knowledgeable, experienced and very helpful. If you are looking for a dog trainer don’t hesitate to contact him.

An hour with IBK9 was all that was needed to transform walks with my dog from being dragged around to an enjoyable loose lead walk – yes only an hour, I can’t believe it either!!

I have a 4 year old Husky cross Akita, he pulled strongly on his lead and we avoided walking him in busy areas and where there would be other dogs.

IBK9 have given me the tools and knowledge to be able to walk him anywhere at anytime, no matter how busy or how many dogs are about.

Within an hour with Ian, my dog was walking past dogs on the same pavement, under control and focused.

This has been life changing, I look forward to taking my dog for family days out, holidays and enjoying every walk with him, rather than dreading it and hoping that he doesn’t pull too much.

I would recommend Ian and his residential training without any hesitation. We have a very difficult dog, a cross between Belgian malinois and english bullterrier, who is a rescue, and he was reactive to absolutely everything – dogs, people, children, bikes, cars, animals, TV at home, every noise and every movement sent him into frenzy. In the year and a half of his decline we tried different trainers, methods, techniques, we have done research but nothing worked. Our lives have become so restricted. Ian was our last resort before we were going to give up and accept that this Is how our dog is and this is what our lives have become. What Ian did with Zeus during his residential training is not short of a miracle. It has been a week and although Zeus will always be work in progress, we no longer have to walk him in the dark trying to avoid everything, we no longer have to hire a field every day just to exercise him, we can now watch TV without him spinning and barking.

From the bottom of our hearts, thank you Ian, you gave Zeus a new life and you allowed us to have our old life back.

We have a very barky dog that is a nightmare on the lead. We contacted Ian out of desperation, within minutes of him taking control of our dog he was a completely different animal, Ian gave us instructions on how to take control and supplied us with a lead to carry on with training him. Ian was very knowledgeable and we would highly recommend him, Thank you!!

I can’t recommend Ian enough for what he has done with our Australian Shepherd which is 6 months old. We only needed 3 lessons with him and he has corrected all the problems we were having with Ozzie!

What was a stressful daily walk has now turned into a relaxed, enjoyable time. We can now walk Ozzie off his lead and he listens to my commands. Overall, Ian has surpassed my expectations of what we could achieve with Ozzie and I urge you to use him like we did, it’s the best thing we did for him!

Ian is fantastic! Absolutely 100% recommend. We went to Ian for help when our mini schnauzer at 11 months started to develop reactivity to dogs, people and young children on walks, we wanted to understand what was causing the behaviour and how to correct it, after just one session we had a changed puppy! Walks are so much more enjoyable for both us and puppy and no more stress. I’ve learnt more about our dog from Ian in just two hours than I have over several months of group puppy classes. Choose IBK9, you don’t need to go anywhere else! 5*!

Booked in some 1-1 lessons with Ian to help us with our reactive working line German Shepherd. Within one lesson we noticed a massive difference in our dog. She can now be walked through busy environments, off lead and we have fine tuned training that we had been working on before the lessons. Ian is incredibly knowledgable and has proven results. I have 2 reactive dogs, both crossbred malinois. I needed control and discipline to be able to keep them safe. Titan was a rescue and full of life, zero recall, and his hunting instinct through the roof. I trusted Ian and IBK9 with him for 3 weeks, he’s happy, and now understands how to behave on and off lead. Highly recommend. It seems costly but a well behaved dog for 8-10years is worth the investment. ⭐️ ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️
