We sent our 1 year old Labrador, Diego, to Ian at IBK9 for a 3 week residential training program to address his reactivity towards both people and dogs. We discovered IBK9 through social media, and it was immediately clear from the videos and transformations shared there that this was the right place for Diego. The range of dogs Ian works with and the incredible before and after results really stood out to us.

From day one, the communication was fantastic. We received daily video updates showing Diego’s progress, which was amazing to watch. It was clear he was improving every day and just as importantly, that he was happy and comfortable despite it being his first time away from home.

We could ask questions at any time and received feedback about his progress, including suggestions and adjustments to suit how he responded to certain training methods.

The results are incredible. Diego is now responsive to our commands, in tune with us, and able to enjoy off lead walks which is something we never thought was possible before his training. We can now take him anywhere without worrying about other dogs or people.

Even after we brought him home, Ian followed up to check how things were going and offered continued support, which we really appreciated.

It’s also worth mentioning that Diego has a strict diet and requires supplements multiple times a day due to a previous illness and it was clear when we picked Diego up that all his dietary needs had been met perfectly which was really important to us.

We couldn’t be happier with the experience and the results. If you’re considering any kind of dog training, we would 100% recommend IBK9.

Walking our dogs is now a joy when previously they were difficult to control and chased any bird they saw. Now they walk obediently at heel and bird chasing is “off the menu”.

I was having trouble with reactivity with my two Rotti’s. They are brother and sister and are two years old. Walks were not enjoyable at all and got so bad I didn’t want to take them out. I enquired with IBK9 about there issues and if they could help. My boy has been for three weeks and we have had our first walk on our own. My God what a difference, we went for an hour and covered nearly three miles. Not one pull on the lead the whole walk. I even let him off the lead and I would never of dreamed of doing that three weeks ago.

Conclusion is. It’s not cheap but definitely worth it. If you add up all the different items you purchase and the rent for private fields you’re actually going to save money in the long run. That’s without the stress relief that you can’t put a price on. He is so much more relaxed and confident. Now it’s the girls turn. PS I wish I had sent them earlier

When we got Nelly as a puppy we wanted a family dog that could come everywhere with us.

Unfortunately it didn’t work out this way. Nelly became impossible to walk or take anywhere with us on family days. She would pull on the lead,run off in the field,and was an absolutely nightmare at home,having a very high drive Nelly couldn’t settle.

I was often in tears most days.

We decided for Nelly to have a residential stay at ibk9 dog training,as we were at our wits end.

Ibk9 training have changed our lives.

Nelly has been too football matches,walked along very busy roads,and school drop off’s all without a lead.before Nelly couldn’t manage this even with a lead,it would be impossible.

Nelly settles perfectly in the house when told,and all over a lot calmer than before.

I can not recommend ibk9 training enough.

Monty, a 2.5 yo Cockerpoo, was a lively, untrained dog with lots of bad habits that I had ignored, largely through circumstances. It had gotten to the point where it was stressful for both of us, when walking. He pulled, jumped up and as for barking….such a loud, constant bark, at almost anything. I found Ian on the Internet and having watched his videos of other dogs and the changes in them, I had to contact Ian. Within a few messages, Monty was booked in for a 3 week residential. Training with the e collar, Monty is now a joy to be around and walking beautifully. His recall is spot on and he rarely barks at all. It is a big commitment financially, however, it is worth every penny. The stress has left our house for good. If you’re in any doubt, don’t be. Just do it. My other dog Stanley is there now and the video updates are coming in with the same results. With lifetime after care too, what more could you ask for? Excellent.

We sent our labrador to IBK9 on a 4 week residential to work on his obedience, recall and dog reactivity.

Before training with Ian, he was unable to walk past dogs at any distance. This made walks extremely stressful and unfulfilling for him.

During his time with Ian, we received daily updates and progress video which was really reassuring. He was training in “real life” scenarios and busy environment, to really proof his training.

Our Labrador has now returned – we can confidently walk by other dogs, he has brilliant recall and heel work, and spends most of his time off lead.

Ian’s help post-residential has really helped us settle our dog back into his home environment.

Bonnie stayed with Ian for a three week residential and has returned a completely different dog. She was becoming increasingly difficult to walk and after exhausting nearly every option we thought we would never be able to walk her with out being pulled along and having Bonnie jump up with excitement at every dog and person we came across. We were also worried about Bonnie being alone with our young children due to the occasional instance of resource guarding.

Ian sent daily updates so we knew Bonnie was happy and could see the quick progress he was making with her.

We have now had Bonnie back home for two days and the difference is incredible. Bonnie is so much calmer in the house, will go to her place when asked instantly and stay until we release her, even with our cat walking past which would never have happened before. Walks have been so lovely after spending so long being dragged along, to having Bonnie trotting along side us, engaged with us is fantastic. We have lots of work to do to make sure we keep it up but I now have the confidence to take her out and give her the freedom she needs. Thank you!

Well I don’t know really where to start. I had been watching Ian’s TikTok’s for months and just had to send my girl to him. She was just under a year old and so strong I just couldn’t walk her. It certainly wasn’t enjoyable. She would fly to any human she could for a fuss and drag me over it was just uncontrollable and embarrassing ! I had videos every single day for 3 weeks from Ian with updates which I just loved. She’s only been home a few hours and is already so much different. Ian was very patient with me as I think I’m probably harder to train than duchess was lol but I have plenty of videos from him to help me be firm with her commands. We really did have a brilliant experience as will everyone who takes their dogs. After all we want to enjoy our dogs right !! Thanks so much Ian and Lorna 🙏🏼

Had an hour session with Ian for our reactive cockapoo. We had a lot of good advice given and saw pretty immediate changes in behaviour along with a few tools to take away and work on ourselves, definitely recommended!
