Our 2 spaniels have just come back from 2 weeks residential training. Our working spaniel was an absolute nightmare on the lead and had zero recall. What Ian has managed is amazing we have 2 really well trained dogs and it will be a pleasure to walk them now. Ian kept in constant contact with us through the whole 2 weeks with videos and explanations. Our dogs were very happy with him. On collection we then had a very thorough session with him. Honestly we can’t thank you enough.

I sent Dexter (2 years old large crossbreed) for the three-week reactive residential programme and he has come back a changed man. He now walks past dogs staying in ‘heel’ and ignores them. His recall to ‘heel’ or ‘come’ is amazing. His loose lead walking is superb and he is now a joy to walk. I previously couldn’t walk him without a halti around his muzzle and had to keep him on a lead in the park because his recall was so bad and he would go up to every dog if he had the chance. I also now know how to deal with Dexter barking at scooters, wheelchairs and strangers approaching (he has not done this at all since having him back so far). His reactivity to people from the car has also improved massively. We looked forward to the update videos every day and Ian is on hand to answer any questions during and after the training (with training tips given too). Thank you Ian for giving Dexter and I the most freedom we could ask for when going on walks. I strongly recommend booking your dog in as it can change yours and your dog’s life. The money is so worth a lifetime of happiness for your dog.

Life-Changing Experience – Thank You Ian!

I can’t thank Ian at IBK9 enough for the incredible transformation he’s made in my Rottweiler, Creed. I sent Creed for the 3-week residential dog training program, and he has come back a completely different dog — calmer, more focused, and finally able to enjoy life the way a dog should.

Before training, off-lead walks were out of the question, but now Creed is confidently and safely walking off-lead, which has given both of us a new level of freedom and enjoyment. You can tell Ian is passionate about what he does and truly understands dogs on a deeper level. The time, care, and consistency he put into Creed’s training really shows.

It’s been amazing to watch Creed thrive since returning home — he’s happier, more responsive, and just living his best life. Sending him to IBK9 was one of the best decisions I’ve made, and I wouldn’t hesitate to recommend Ian to anyone looking for expert, results-driven dog training.

Couldn’t recommend enough, just got my Piglet back after 3 weeks at the residential training and she is a different dog (in a good way) no lead pulling, re-call straight away, I’m ecstatic about it. I got daily updates and any questions I asked were answered quickly. Will definitely be booking my other 2 dogs in.

I came to see Ian because I was having issues with my Malinois. I felt overwhelmed and anxious, especially in public where my dog’s challenging behaviors would usually start.

Ian was incredibly professional and knowledgeable. He explained things in such a clear and simple way that made it easy to understand. He made us feel completely at ease, and—unbelievably—he resolved the issue within just 10 minutes.

I no longer feel anxious, and I still remember everything he taught us. My dog has improved massively. Thank you so much, Ian—I highly recommend him!

Ian came to our house to help us with walking Milo my mothers Spaniel who pulled constantly – we couldn’t believe by the end of just one lesson he was walking beautifully with a slack lead. Thank you so much Ian our walks are now enjoyable….. Jackie – Soham

Absolutely would recommend – my 2 year old salukis recall was so unreliable and he was starting to show signs of reactivity. I have tried other trainers/groups before with no success. During our one hour session, Ian gave really clear instructions and explanations and straight away my dog was much more engaged. 3 weeks later and he can now walk calmly past dogs he used to react to and I can confidently let him off the lead. Clearly a very knowledgable trainer and I am so impressed by the results already.

I cannot recommend Ian enough. I have two spaniels who were incredibly reactive to other dogs and any people they did not know. This meant I could only take them out locally on early walks when I knew I wasn’t going to meet any other dogs or people.Not only was it exceptionally stressful for me and them, they weren’t getting to enjoy life in the way they should, having fun at the beach, at the park and generally being the happy well grounded dogs they should be. I’ve spent more money than I dare say with dog behaviourists to very little end. Within 2 sessions with Ian my dogs have been transformed. Ian has taught me so much. He is so humble and knowledgable. I honestly never thought I’d have the dogs I do now. And all I had to do was listen and follow Ian’s lead (no pun intended)! Thank you Ian I can’t tell you what this means to us all.

We had a 1 on 1 training with Ian and he was great. Our dog struggles with reactivity and high prey drive. After just one lesson with Ian our dog made big progress! I highly recommend! He was patient and he is very knowledgeable.
